#NCTIES23 – Get Your Screen Time Outside

One of the positive benefits of the pandemic for my family and I is that we began to spend more time outside in our own backyard, hiking, and exploring our family farm. As a former biology teacher, I’ve always preferred the naturalist side of the science, identifying and cataloging the diverse flora and fauna around us. Now, there are apps that make that more accessible than ever! So, why not take advantage of the powerful capabilities of the screens in our our pockets to do just that? It’s like PokemonGo, but… real!
